Located in Pflugerville, Texas, this short-term rental was reimagined after a change in ownership with the goal of creating a more inviting guest experience and increasing booking potential. While the home had a strong foundation, the inherited furnishings felt worn, undersized, and lacked the thoughtful details needed to make the space feel elevated. Working within a defined budget, we focused on the areas that would make the greatest impact, beginning with the outdoor spaces that serve as a major draw for guests before moving indoors. Throughout the home, we introduced layers of comfort and cohesion through updated bedding, pillows, throws, properly scaled lighting, neutral drapery, and carefully curated accessories. We also improved functionality by upgrading the primary suite to a king bed, repurposing existing furniture where possible, and reworking the game room layout for better flow. To better accommodate the home's capacity of 12 guests, we expanded dining options with a larger table and additional seating, while also helping the owner address overlooked details like kitchen inventory and worn pool towels. Although larger furniture replacements were reserved for a future phase, thoughtful styling, strategic updates, and intentional space planning transformed the rental into a warm, functional, and guest-ready retreat.
