This new homeowner had some great pieces and things passed down from her family that she was struggling to pull together. There was a lot of wood furniture that she needed to keep, so we added soft texture with rugs, drapes, pillows and throws to create the cozy she was craving. Also uniting her cherished heirlooms with more modern accessories to create a sentimental yet luxurious detailed look throughout her home to remind her that this was not a model, but her home and wanted these memories surrounding her.

MLK Highline

Situated in one of Austin’s fastest-growing neighborhoods, this mid-rise model apartment was designed to reflect both the vibrant energy of the area and the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., as requested by the client. To honor the spirit of MLK, we incorporated meaningful decor elements while maintaining a modern, high-end aesthetic. A stylish bar cart and artwork featuring iconic Austin city scenes add personality, while touches of leather and burnt orange bring warmth and depth to the space. The design remains neutral and sophisticated, but with intentional pops of color that speak to the neighborhood’s energy.

Pressler Rooftop Deck

Multifamily Residential

The client wanted to reimagine this rooftop deck as an engaging social space for residents while also addressing furniture durability against Austin’s elements. In response, we introduced a mix of entertainment and functional upgrades, transforming it into a true community hub. A dedicated game area featuring Corn Hole and Life-Sized Connect Four was added adjacent to the grilling station, creating a lively atmosphere for gatherings. To further enhance the space, a fun, locally-inspired mural became a focal point, offering a prime selfie spot. At the client’s request, the mural includes references to beloved Austin spots, plus a nod to Bevo—the iconic Texas Longhorn—cheekily depicted with a can of spray paint (a brilliant touch by our artist!). To extend seasonal usability, we incorporated a fire-pit, ensuring the deck remains a cozy retreat even in cooler months. Given the rooftop’s exposure to wind, all outdoor pillows and rugs were sourced from one of our trusted vendors who specializes in weighted textiles—keeping everything stylishly in place, no matter the weather.

A mainstream designer had done these models originally, but they didn’t flow well and had some furniture in them that was not “to scale.” We switched pieces from one unit to another replaced rugs, accessories, and art to refresh the spaces and make them more customized to the unique space.
